WHO WE ARE

The Jersey Stags are proud to announce they are part of a new breed of football. Welcome to the Major Leagues.  For nearly 80 years, the football community has struggled with what we should label programs outside of professional football.  The Semi-Pro level is a game where players are partially paid to supplement their full-time incomes.  As of recent years, we have adopted the label Minor League; however, the reality is, professional football has not embraced the Minors as a farm system like professional baseball, hockey and basketball have.  That is not to say some minor league athletes cannot find their way into professional football camps but it is extremely rare. Our games are highly competitive while our venues offer An incredible value to fans and families.   Minor league players will now have a place to play at an elite level.  The Major League Standards include high quality facilities, top tier talent and qualified coaching.  We also have relationships in place with professional football agents that commit athletes to our program. 


We are located in Sussex County New Jersey and play our home games at Macerino Stadium in Vernon Township.  We compete in the Gridiron Developmental Football League and play a 10 game regular season starting in June with post season play beginning in September.

With over 2000 fans, the Stags are grateful to their following.  Every home game features loads of free giveaways.  Each Stags home game is a venue that includes free rock concerts, tailgating, bbq and our very own Prancers Dance Team.  If you are looking for something to do in New Jersey, come to a Stags game.
